If Necessary, Use Words.

One of my favorite quotes, which is by St. Francis of Assisi, is, “Go to all the world and preach the gospel. And if necessary, use words.” That says so much, because if we LOVE with our actions and our life, then it’s real. People believe it. We can talk about things, or TELL people about love, but words are cheap. When we LIVE it, or show it, people will believe what they SEE and feel.

That’s why I’m leaning more and more toward Video as my creative language. Because we can tell people things, we can talk and describe and write about them, but when people SEE it, they immediately believe. We accept it as truth if we see it with our own eyes.

Seeing is Believing, right? … Can he do it? Will he make it?

The amazing thing is our eyes can perceive a thousand nuances in a split second and can understand infinite details of a story with depth and emotion if it is communicated well. The key then, is to refine our skills to be a storyteller; to Say the things we want to communicate–without words.

Think about how you can change the perception of your business or your products with a visual message. An undeniable visual truth. What does this video say about this Studio primarily known for weddings?

Without any sound or written words, you can see this studio has at least three high key sets, workers shooting quickly, scanning with a bar-code reader, shooting all kinds of small products, takes pride in workspace, using computers and imaging technology, employer who embraced diversity … all that from just one quick clip and no words. It will be a part of a longer video about this studio’s addition of product and commercial photography services. Can you see how seeing this short clip can change your perception about the studio? Video is Powerful #nowordsneeded #seeandbelieve #visualvoice
