Fun Lenses

P9910155One of my favorite lenses is the Lumix 7-14mm Rectilinear fisheye zoom. Even for portrait sessions, when you would not usually use a fisheye, it often makes a dynamic image with a cool perspective. I also love to show the scene of what was going on, too, especially when shooting in a class situation or in a huge pictorial location. This image was photographed not Tybee Island Beach in Georgia and we got killer sunset images. Fortunately, I remembered to throw on the wide for an action shot of our class and the sunset, but also stepped in closer for a dynamic portrait. The non-distorted {Rectilinear] lens is great for portraits, but you should still make an effort to keep the faces and heads near the middle. Outer edges make  cone-heads if  you are not careful!

Add a little Lightroom with clarity and saturation, and open up the shadows a bit and you have one dynamic portrait! I so love the small size and lightweight Lumix system because I DO actually carry all my lenses (all 6 of them) and can easily grab a fun lens like this for some instant variety! #lumixlounge #LumixCreatives #Lens #wideangle

SuzetteSez: Take a different perspective by choosing a different lens- you  will be surprised at how your work takes on a fresh look!
